The Internet 10 years from now

I'm sure by now most people who are using the Internet and have made Internet part of their daily life would not be able to imagine life with out the Internet.

Internet technology empowers people to do what they want to do. To speak what they want to speak. It made people even more creative and made them learn new things that they never imagined they can learn before . Internet technology made the distance between individuals closer.

The Internet Society (ISOC), which is a nonprofit organization founded in 1992 to provide leadership in the Internet related standards, education and policy has developed four future Internet scenarios that reveal plausible courses of events that could impact the health of the internet in the future.

Here are the four scenarios during the ISOC Internet exercise.

1. The Common Pool Scenario

2. The Boutique Network Scenario

3. The Moats and Drawbridges Scenario

4. The Porous Garden Scenario

So what do you think is the biggest threat facing the Internet? Get more details here and share your thoughts by filling out the poll.
